To mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is celebrated on 3 December, the TEB Group, TColors and the PortAventura Foundation joined forces to launch “#UnMismoTrazo, pinta kilómetros para la inclusión” [#ASingleLine, painting kilometres for inclusion]. This solidarity initiative was inspired by a project presented by students from the Master in Strategic and Creative Brand Communication Management at IED Barcelona in order to raise awareness in society about the challenges faced by persons with intellectual disabilities.
The action proposed a creative challenge: to paint coloured lines in any format and upload them to Instagram so that they can be joined together to create the longest possible line of solidarity, representing the path towards a more inclusive world.
The collection of lines began on 26 November with the launch of this initiative at PortAventura Dreams Village and Madrid’s Handmade Festival and concluded on 3 December.
An altruistic proposal that aligns with IED’s values, helping to once again connect design with social activism in order to denounce discrimination and fight for equality.
