Ane Guerra, founder of the content agency Letraherida and one of Forbes’ 100 Most Creative People of 2024, revealed the key insights of her profession in the third instalment of the More than… talk series organised by the IED Barcelona School of Communication

Following More than a Shoe with avant-garde shoemaker Norman Vilalta and More than Art Direction with Óscar Germade, Image Director at Mango, the third instalment of the More than… talk series—an initiative of the IED Barcelona School of Communication in which designers and creatives share the key aspects of their professions with students—featured Ane Guerra, founder of the content agency Letraherida, as its guest speaker.

Recognised as one of Forbes’ 100 Most Creative People of 2024, the journalist and Creative Copywriter shared her professional experience with the audience in a talk entitled “Make mistakes, but don’t make the same mistakes I did”, encouraging attendees to find their own path, learn how to stand out, fit in (when necessary), and use words to change things.

In this regard, Guerra, who has built her career at the intersection of storytelling, feminism and social justice, emphasised the need to question where stories are written from, who writes them, why they are written and for what purpose, inviting the audience to learn how to say no and to create with perspective, empathy and commitment, without using ChatGPT; as what is truly fundamental in the creative act is not the final product, but the process.

The More than… series will continue with a new event, which will be announced shortly.

Stay tuned and don’t miss it.
