From Japan to IED Torino: automotive brands meet Transportation Design students

A day of company presentations and one-to-one interviews connected Transportation Design students and graduates with six leading Japanese automotive companies

IED Torino welcomed a selected group of major Japanese automotive brands for a day dedicated to meeting and engaging with Transportation Design students. Six international companies, Toyota Motor, Mitsubishi Motor, Daihatsu Motor, Honda Research & Development, Tools International and Kunico, visited the campus to discover the talent developed within IED programmes.

The morning began with a series of company presentations, during which brand representatives shared their vision, design departments and career opportunities within their organisations. This was followed by individual interviews with second-year students of the Master in Transportation Design and graduates of the three-year Transportation Design programme from Academic Year 2024–2025, offering a direct and professional exchange focused on future careers.
