Specialised media described his parade as the most outstanding

The groundbreaking looks of young designer Luis De Javier continue to captivate the fashion sector.

The former BA (Hons) in Fashion Design student at IED Barcelona gained fame a couple of years ago for dressing showbiz stars such as Beyoncé, Rihanna and Rosalía, making his debut on the New York catwalk last March. He has now taken the next step in his unstoppable rise by presenting his new collection at the latest edition of Los Angeles Fashion Week in Hollywood (18 to 22 October). An event for which he had the collaboration of Riccardo Tisci, the former creative director of Burberry and Givenchy and his mentor for the last year and a half.

De Javier presented “La Ruta”, 25 looks for next spring-summer that combine latex and corsets, featuring horns, bikinis and sweatshirts inspired by the Spanish rave movement of the 1990s, which was known as the “Ruta del Bakalao”.

The parade took place on the last day of the fashion week, with specialised media describing it as the most outstanding.
