Sanz Pey will have to develop eight new looks under the mentorship of major international fashion firms such as Chanel, Celine or Dior

IED Barcelona Fashion Design alumnus Marc Sanz Pey is one of the 10 finalists of the 38th International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories – Hyères, the competition founded by Jean Pierre-Blanc and recognised for promoting the careers of emerging designers.

Sanz Pey has been selected from among 800 candidates, and will now have to develop eight new looks to be in with a chance of winning in the grand finale, which will be held from 12 to 15 October in Provence (France). For this task, he will count on the mentorship and promotion of international fashion firms such as Chanel, Celine or Dior, among others. These firms will also collaborate by providing the fabrics with which to create the looks.

The main prize consists of a grant of 20,000 euros, a high level of visibility at the Première Vision salon in Paris in February 2024, as well as a collaborative project with the Métiers d'Art de Chanel (also valued at 20,000 euros), media projection and a mentorship, among others.
