"I’m inspired and I design for women that are comfortable and confident and don’t take themselves too seriously. And know to have fun!”.

After graduation in Fashion Design at IED Barcelona, Prisca Franchetti moved to New York where she collaborated with Isabella Rossellini in movies sets and with Zac Posen’s brand.

In 2015 she launched her project PRISCAVera, a fashion brand based in NYC, which focus is on combining local youth culture with high-quality production.

“Before I knew what I was thinking: maybe I have something to say. It just sort of happened” explains about how she started her own brand.

“In New York I really felt a push, some sort of encouragement. You feel the dynamic tension of the city and it really pushes you to do something”.

Three alumni brands to present their collections at 080 Barcelona Fashion

Eñaut, Guillermo Justicia (IED Barcelona) and REPARTO (IED Madrid) will showcase their collections on the most international fashion runway in Spain which, from 14 to 17 April, will bring creative and designer fashion to its new location at Port Vell, Marina Vela, for the first time.

11th Bridal Scholarship for Talent by Gratacós

The looks “Quiebra” and “Iceberg”, by David De la Calle Cruz and Emma García Rodrigo, students of the Postgraduate Programme in Bridal and Ceremony Dress Design at IED Barcelona, have won the €1,000 fabric scholarship awarded by the prestigious haute couture textile company.

Fashion and Circularity with UNIQLO

Students from the Fashion Design and Fashion Styling and Communication programmes at IED Barcelona have taken part in an upcycling project for the Japanese multinational, transforming ten imperfect garments into new unique pieces and designing their respective communication campaigns.

Creativity, design and architecture at the Workshop Week 2026

From 2 to 6 February, 430 students at IED Barcelona took part in this annual multidisciplinary academic activity, which offered 25 multidisciplinary workshops inspired by the Barcelona World Capital of Architecture 2026 event. And, for the first time, it included mobility between campuses.
