The commitment to more transparent fashion comes within reach of the Green Alley Award 2023

After appearing among the 10 finalists of the Fashion StartUp Contest in March, BCome, the digital platform focused on improving the sustainability of the textile industry co-founded by Alba García, alumnus of the BA in Fashion at IED Barcelona, reached the final stage once again. In this case, for the Green Alley Award 2023, an award that has recognised emerging companies’ innovations in the circular economy, with business models linked to the digital circular economy, recycling or waste prevention, since 2014. Her candidacy was selected from among 226 projects submitted.
BCome is an innovative digital platform focused on promoting the sustainability of the textile industry with the aim of improving the responsible traceability of supplies for fashion companies. To this effect, it helps companies trace all the steps of the value chain, from the extraction of raw materials to the point of sale.
Through the collection of data throughout the product’s life cycle, it allows to adjust decision making by knowing the true social, environmental and economic impact of the product on a global scale.
