Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week returned with a digital format and IED joined it.

From September 18th to 22nd, Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Weeks 2020 returned with a digital format and IED joined it during this new chapter of one of the most important bridal fashion fairs. 

A conversation about design and Postgraduate in Wedding and Ceremony Dresses Design with IED students, alumni and experts was offered during the event. They talked about what is the current situation of the industry in Barcelona, which needs to be changed and what is the role of creativity in a very special day.

Creativity, design and architecture at the Workshop Week 2026

From 2 to 6 February, 430 students at IED Barcelona took part in this annual multidisciplinary academic activity, which offered 25 multidisciplinary workshops inspired by the Barcelona World Capital of Architecture 2026 event. And, for the first time, it included mobility between campuses.

The exhibition will debut in Madrid on February 17 as part of the Madrid Design Festival.

The star guest of the 10th Barcelona Bridal Night at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 26 visits the school to discover the creations by alumni of the Postgraduate Programme in Wedding and Ceremony Dresses Design, who will open the runway show next 22 April.

AQU Catalunya and IED Barcelona begin a mass survey to gauge the satisfaction of recent graduates

More than 60,000 people who finished their university and artistic studies last year will receive the survey, which will serve to improve the degrees currently being taught. Participants will be entered into a prize draw for the latest generation iPhone.
