The special link established between dizygotic – or fraternal – twins from the womb up until their death is the starting point of this collection that aims to reveal what unites us as humanity.
We are all born and we all die, and the looks reflect this journey through existence. The void (death) is represented as something positive, with dark tones and textures that resemble those of the earth, which we meet again when we die. Life, on the other hand, is shown through light colours and light-weight volumes, with intentional tensions provided by ropes and nets, like the ray of light that shines through the window every morning.
The garments are designed both with a vital purpose and a limited lifespan using both conventional and innovative materials, such as kombucha leather.
