Learn how to anticipate future trends and comprehend the latest needs of the fashion market, developing unique proposals at one of the best design schools in the world.

The Bachelor of Arts in Design, specialising in Fashion Design helps you develop and consolidate your own personal style to stand out from the crowd in an increasingly complex sector.

In this degree you’ll acquire the know-how and skills you need to create collections, organise fashion shows and events, use marketing and communication to take your own fashion brand to success.

What’s more, studying at IED Barcelona gives you the opportunity to use spectacular workshops where you can experiment with different tools and processes. You can also learn to produce digital or 3D prints in the Hybrid Lab, and organise photo shoots at the Medialab.

There are 60 places available for first-year students majoring in Fashion Design. Of these places, there is no specific number assigned by pathway or language.

The Bachelor of Arts in Design is valid throughout the European Higher Education Area, equivalent to an official university degree, and is accredited by the Agency for the Quality of the University System. This programme grants access to official university master’s degrees and, where applicable, to doctoral studies.

This is a project-based degree in which you’ll gain experience developing experimental projects under the supervision of professionals working in the fashion sector.

In this program you’ll learn how to anticipate trends and propose solutions in advance. To do this, you’ll use a combination of traditional techniques and innovative tools; an essential mix of handicraft and the latest technology.
