Create experiences that inspire, communicate, and make an impact — bringing together design, strategy, and operational excellence.

The Master in Event Design and Management trains professionals capable of leading projects within the contemporary experiential communication industry. Combining creative strategy and operational excellence, you will learn to design memorable experiences that communicate values, strengthen brand identity, and connect with audiences.

The programme approaches events as essential tools for communication, branding, and marketing, integrating sustainability, innovation, and a global perspective. Throughout the course, you will develop skills in critical thinking, art direction, budget management, responsible production, and storytelling as a means of emotional engagement.

With a multidisciplinary and practice-oriented approach, this master’s combines theory, applied learning, and collaborative projects with companies and institutions in the sector. Upon completion, you will be prepared to play a key role in the creation and management of corporate, cultural, fashion, sports, or entertainment events — offering creative, sustainable, and impactful solutions.

Information to decide

A comprehensive vision of event design and management, combining creativity, strategy, and sustainability to generate memorable experiences in communication, branding, and culture.

The programme is organised into five interconnected modules that provide a comprehensive understanding of event design and management — from analysing industry context and trends to developing multiplatform communication.

Alongside theoretical classes, workshops, and teamwork, the learning process is enriched through an experiential and multidisciplinary approach, consolidated by collaborations with companies and institutions.

This cross-disciplinar training combines critical thinking with professional execution, preparing you to lead every phase of an event — from concept to implementation.

Aimed at professionals and graduates from fields such as design, marketing, communication, public relations, audiovisual production, or tourism who wish to apply a creative and strategic perspective to event management.

This master offers a comprehensive overview of event design and management, combining strategic criteria, applied creativity and an operational understanding of the production process.

Studying in Barcelona—a city with continuous activity in the cultural, corporate, tourism and creative spheres—allows you to closely observe different types of events and understand how they are structured within a real and diverse professional environment. The programme’s structure — which covers everything from context analysis to the conceptualisation, development and communication of an event — prepares you to make informed decisions and to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

This training opens up the possibility of orienting your career towards a wide range of professional sectors, including the events industry, the corporate and business sector, marketing and communication, tourism and hospitality, as well as entertainment and culture.
