He joins the jury as the third member, alongside Lorenzo Caprile and María Escoté, replacing Alejandro Gómez Palomo

Luis de Javier, one of the most prominent emerging fashion designers on the national and international scene and an IED Barcelona graduate in Fashion Design, joins the jury of Maestros de la Costura Celebrity. Along with Lorenzo Caprile and María Escoté, he will replace Alejandro Gómez Palomo in the celebrity version of the sewing talent show produced by RTVE, in collaboration with Shine Iberia (Banijay Iberia), which returns to the small screen with 12 new apprentices and its regular host, Raquel Sánchez Silva.

A leading figure in fashion that celebrates inclusion and gender fluidity, after studying a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design at IED Barcelona and graduating in 2019, Luis de Javier travelled to London to continue his training. In 2020, he founded his own luxury fashion brand, Luis De Javier Studio, recognised for fusing Spanish cultural heritage with bold, avant-garde creations. Since then, he has showcased his work on the runways of Los Angeles, New York and Paris under the mentorship of Ricardo Tisci, former creative director of Burberry and Givenchy.

His aesthetic, which challenges norms and embraces diversity, has seduced major figures in music and entertainment such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Rosalía, Bad Gyal, Cardi B., Doja Cat, Julia Fox, Kim Kardashian, and Lady Gaga, who have worn his iconic designs that embody attitudes and evoke freedom, identity, and transgression.
