During the Salone Auto Torino 2024, the European Institute of Design will be the protagonist with a dual event dedicated to innovation and creativity in the automotive sector, celebrating 30 years of Transportation Design courses at its Turin campus.
From Friday, September 13th until Sunday, in Piazza Castello, you can discover the latest three concept cars created by students of the Master in Transportation Design at IED Torino:
- Alisea, designed in collaboration with Pagani Automobili, pays homage to the legendary Zonda on its 25th anniversary.
- Alpine A4810, a two-seater supercar with hydrogen propulsion, represents a futuristic vision of extreme sportiness.
- Suzuki Misano, a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic barchetta, characterized by elegant and asymmetrical design.
The experience continues at OGR Torino, where from September 11th, you can visit the exhibition "Infinite Roads: 30 years of Transportation Design at IED Torino." This special showcase features a collection of 1:4 scale prototypes created by students over the past thirty years, demonstrating how IED Torino has influenced the automotive sector with pioneering ideas and collaborations with renowned industry brands.
