At the end of the event, the best sketches in three categories – style, creativity and productivity (quantity and speed) – were recognised

On 18 May, coinciding with the Automobile Barcelona event, IED Barcelona held the first Car Design Sketching Marathon. The activity, aimed at all Transportation Design students, regardless of their level, brought together some 30 participants accompanied by expert teachers and exclusive visits by alumni from the Barcelona School: Kevin Di Santiago, Daniel Ricardo Shicshi Luna, Lluis Civit Carceller and Juan José Masero Pérez.

Thus, for around three-and-a-half hours, the Point One Open Space became a laboratory where students were able to share, learn, observe and practise important skills, such as quickly visualising ideas.

At the end of the event, the best sketches in three categories – style, creativity and productivity (quantity and speed) – were recognised. The winners were Manuel Jesús Ramírez Pagés, Thevidu Thineesha Rajapakse and Astanbek Zhyldyzbekov, respectively.
