Our Fashion School graduates in 2025 are here to stay

We are committed to change and transform the fashion industry

The fashion industry has been attentive for many years to the changes of a demanding market that is looking for experiences beyond innovative and quality products. Our graduates investigate the latests trends in the sector in their graduation projects; from collections that investigate new sustainable materials, to communication strategies that propose new systems of consumption, shootings that capture the different gender identities or immersive and interdisciplinary installations that present new paradigms of the classic fashion events.

Our Fashion Shows

From classic catwalks to immersive installations, fashion films or fashion presentations, these are the graduation events of our fashion schools in 2025

With the month of the end of the course being the perfect occasion to showcase the talent that has been forged throughout the different training courses in the classrooms, translated into moodboards, sketches or moulages until a final collection is created. The workshops have become our students' second homes, where they have shared endless days of work full of creativity, frustration, effort, hard work and, above all, passion.

In this edition, the IED Fashion Shows explore different ways of celebrating fashion: from classic catwalks in emblematic locations such as villas or ancient royal palaces, immersive installations during major industry events such as Pitti Uomo in Florence or Videocittà in Rome to short distance presentations to discover the creative world of each designer.

Each event has presented proposals that show a clear vision of a committed generation that questions identities, celebrates differences and preserves artisan tradition. An occasion to celebrate the end of one stage and mark the beginning of another challenging and very exciting one.

Fashioners of the World

IED Barcelona - Royal Palace of Pedralbes
June 16th

The emblematic historic building, a former royal residence and home to the Museum of Decorative Arts, hosted the last edition of Fashioners of the World, IED Barcelona's graduate fashion show, and its annual fashion awards given by national and international personalities of the industry.

UNSTAGE: IED Milano fashion show with artist Scarlett Rouge

Unstage

IED Milano 
September 27th

Unstage was a collective, artistic, and deconstructive action rather than a mere display of individual achievements. The first look was presented by artist Scarlett Rouge, following 50 looks from 13 collections by IED designers. 
 There was no stage — only a geography of gestures, sounds, garments, and thinking bodies within the multi-level space of Galleria Lia Rumma.

Degree Show

IED Kunsthal Bilbao

For the second year, the IED Kunsthal Bilbao set an outstanding exhibition that brought together a selection of our students' final projects. As part of the event, a fashion show was held to showcase the most outstanding proposals of the Fashion Design graduates.

The runway of the IED Roma fashion graduates was located inside Videocittà 2025, a festival of vision and digital culture, presented along an immersive experience in collaboration with the creative duo Machinezero, composed by Enrico Forghieri and Lorenzo Cordioli.

Waiting Room

IED Cagliari
July 17th

Fashion graduates from IED Cagliari presented their collections in the city's train station in collaboration with RFI. 
On the catwalk, reflections on the present and the future, with a recurring theme in many of the collections: travel.

Fashion Show

IED Madrid
16 September

Selected by a jury composed of fashion industry experts, twelve students presented their final collections in the Spanish capital this September during Madrid es Moda. The selection took place in a special event in June called Avant Défilé.
