Several IED students have collaborated in the development of the looks

Marc Sanz Pey is already part of history. The young designer who graduated in Fashion at the IED Barcelona is the third Spaniard to make it into the top ten of the Hyères International Fashion, Accessories and Photography Festival in its 38 years of existence. His candidacy to become one of the ten finalists won out over the proposals of more than 800 designers from all over the world.

To develop the eight looks with which he has opted to be the winner, Marc has had the collaboration of several IED students, as well as the participation of Andrei Palma, alumnus of IED Barcelona, who has assisted him during his residence in Hyères.

An edition that has opted for youth

The 38th edition of the Hyères International Fashion, Accessories and Photography Festival, held in Villa Noailles, France, from 12 to 15 October, has been marked both by the youth of its finalists and of the presidents of the different juries: Charles de Vilmorin in the fashion category, Alan Crocetti in the accessories category and Luis Alberto Rodriguez in the photography category.

Finally, in fashion, the winner was the Belgian Igor Dieryck, who won the Grand Prix du Jury of Première Vision, as well as the Public Prize - Ville d'Hyères.

We will soon be publishing an interview with Marc Sanz Pey to find out first-hand what the experience was like.
