The IED Barcelona alumnus is the seventh designer trained at IED to receive the most significant recognition in the Spanish fashion industry
Edward Cuming is the winner of the 14th edition of the Vogue Fashion Fund, the most prestigious award in the Spanish fashion industry, promoted by Vogue España and Inditex.
At a gala held on 20 October in Madrid, the designer trained at IED Barcelona, where he studied the BA (Hons) in Fashion Design, received the award — an honor he had already competed for last year, when the prize went to Tíscar Espadas, an alumnus of IED Madrid.
Cuming has built his style on a contemporary, sustainable, and emotional vision of tailoring, marked by deeply personal technique and aesthetics. This recognition celebrates his career and is yet another example of how the talent nurtured at IED continues to shape the history of the Vogue Fashion Fund, now boasting seven winners in its fourteen editions.
Congratulations, Edward!
