IED Smart Creativity

In 2021 IED asked Lecturers and Alumni to record some lectures and testimonials on key disciplines: fashion, interior, product and graphic design, and a selection of cross-disciplinary subjects.
The result is IED Smart Creativity, a collection of 150 videos specifically designed to help IED students building a foundation in the creative fields, and to widen and develop their knowledge in different areas of creativity, in a self-paced learning.
For each discipline handouts are available for download, including the outline of the subjects and contents presented, together with additional links and resources. Each discipline will end up with a final task, students can receive feedback from the teachers by sharing the project in the platform.
The project responds to several goals:
– To provide IED students at the beginning of their Design education path with a foundation on key disciplines of creativity.
– To provide the Postgraduate and Specialization students with the possibility of widening and developing their knowledge in different areas of creativity
– To engage with all the recently enrolled students from the moment of matriculation until the start of the course, making sure they feel part of the IED community from the very beginning
IED Smart Creativity videos are in English, with subtitles in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, they are available until December 2023.
