A unique program, taught in English, at one of the best Fashion and Design schools in the world to give aspiring digital professionals the resources they need to create value and make a difference in brand management, marketing and communication.

Cultivate your passion and talent, learn to use strategic, creative and digital management tools to find your feet as a Marketing and Communication specialist in the fashion industry. This 3-year English-taught program in Fashion Marketing and Communication, with the option of a fourth year, opens the doors to an innovative, strategic and creative profession.

You’ll learn the ins and outs of fashion business management, proposing new solutions for a range of management areas: Marketing, Editorial, Trends, Retail, Styling, Content and Communication. Your work will include research, projects, creative concepts, visual and written languages, audiovisual production techniques and the latest software and technology.

Working professionals and lecturers with years of teaching experience will introduce you to the key concepts you need to turn creative talent into creative services on every level of the fashion industry.

The program includes master classes, work experience, workshops, visits to companies, museums, showrooms and art galleries.

This BA (Hons) in Fashion Marketing and Communication offers a unique international approach, a hallmark of the University of Westminster, a learning experience at IED and a living experience in Barcelona, one of the design capitals of the world.

Information to decide

This Fashion Marketing and Communication program is based on practice: in three years, you’ll develop communication skills in different languages, a strategic vision, teamwork skills and a capacity for creative thinking and execution under the guidance of specialists working in various areas eager to pass on their experience.

This gives you the grounding you need to enter the professional world with an excellent theoretical background and the skills required to develop any kind of research strategy, concept or visualisation, presenting innovative ideas as projects.

The program, split into modules, gives you a panoramic understanding of the macro-universe that is the fashion world and the skills you need to apply, marketing and communication techniques to offer state-of-the-art solutions that meet the client’s expectations in a constantly evolving, competitive sector.

If you’re passionate about fashion and want to make a difference in key areas such as marketing and communication, this is the program for you. It’s a program for collaborative, creative, analytical people, citizens of the world who are excellent communicators and want to express themselves in the languages of fashion.

It’s for proactive professionals who want to work on ambitious brand development projects or intend to focus their career in other areas of fashion rather than design: communication and marketing companies, social networks, fashion journalism, PR, styling, etc.
And if you want to create your own fashion brand you’ll find the program extremely interesting and useful.

IED Barcelona sets the standard for fashion schools in Spain, and that’s not all. It’s one of the best in the world, with a staff of lecturers who’ve already made their mark in the business world accumulating experience and developing their own communication and fashion marketing projects.

Barcelona is one of the sector's European capitals, so choosing this Fashion Marketing and Communication program in the city of Barcelona gives you interesting career options as it’s one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, a springboard to the international fashion industry.

You’ll be able to develop your full potential and create your own communication style to offer credible solutions for the challenges of a sector that’s highly competitive, and at IED you’ll acquire the know-how and experience you need to stand out from the competition.
