On 25 and 26 June, IED Madrid celebrated a new edition of its Graduation Shows, the institution's flagship showcase of emerging talent from the Schools of Design, Visual Arts and Fashion. Across two days, students, families, industry professionals and the creative community explored the Final Project exhibitions, discovering proposals that reflected new ways of designing, researching and responding to today's challenges.

For two days, IED Madrid opened its doors to celebrate the end of another academic year with the Graduation Shows 2026, an edition shaped by the concept Times New—an invitation to see design as a tool for connecting disciplines, challenging conventions and imagining new futures.

The programme began on 25 June at IED Madrid Design District, where the Final Proyects in Graphic Design and Product Design transformed the campus into an exhibition of creativity, research and innovation. Visitors explored projects that addressed today´s social, technological and wnvironmental challenges throught thoughtful design solutions, while students shared the outcomes of a year-long process driven by experimentation and critical thinking.

On the following day, the spotlight moved to IED Madrid Gran Vía, where the Interior Design exhibition and the Fashion Design showroom presented projects exploring new ways of inhabiting spaces, creating experiences and engaging with the world from fresh and innovative perspectives.

The celebration concluded with the much-anticipated Avant-défilé 2026, one of the academic year's most iconic events, where Fashion Design students unveiled their final collections on the runway. Inspired by the concept Times New Hybridisasion, the collections demostrated how hybridisasion can become a powerful creative force, blurring the boundaries between disciplines, techniques and visual languages while offering a contemporary vision of fashion and its ability to interpret the present.

Once again, the Graduation Shows became a meeting point between the IED community and the professional world, highlighting the talent of a new generation of designers who understand design as an open, multidisciplinary and socially engaged practice.
