With the IED Madrid Higher Level Training Cycle in Illustration, students learn to develop a visual language that will allow them to bring ideas and concepts to life through drawing, making illustrations with different artistic techniques and styles.  In addition, students will be introduced to the fundamental strategies of graphic storytelling for the development of publications or storyboards. Through a practical methodology, students will develop their own language which will allow them to undertake projects in different fields, such as advertising, design, the publishing world or art.

Aimed at those young people who want to perform their work in the areas of illustration, mastering the main graphic expression techniques at a professional level and selecting the most suitable ones for each assignment, according to the context of the communication proposal.

With the Higher Level Training Cycle in Illustration, you will learn to develop a visual language that will allow you to bring ideas and concepts to life through drawing, making illustrations with different artistic techniques and styles.

In addition, students will be introduced to the fundamental strategies of graphic storytelling for the development of publications, storyboards or graphic novels. Through a practical methodology, you will develop your own language that will allow you to undertake projects in different fields, such as advertising, design, the publishing world or art.

You will be able to experience what you learn in classrooms and workshops equipped with the latest technologies, through theoretical and practical training and by participating in real projects with companies.

After completing the two-year studies, students obtain an official qualification of 2000 hours equivalent to 120 ECTS which is valid and recognised throughout the European Higher Education Area. This allows access to other training programmes, scholarships and grants from the Ministry.
