The lighting design installation “Fabric Maze”, a labyrinth of fabrics, lights and shadows inspired by the textile past of the Poblenou neighbourhood, created warm visual compositions with each visitor’s passage
After surprising audiences in recent editions of Llum BCN with a minimal-energy installation recreating a starry sky (“Slow Light”), a play of light and bubbles highlighting the historical identity of the Poblenou neighbourhood (“Luminent”), and a sculptural proposal conceived as a lighthouse in the industrial night to denounce the accelerated pace of our society (“Eternal Shift”), IED Barcelona has returned to the festival of light arts with a creation that is 100% evocative and sensory.
From 6 to 8 February, “Fabric Maze”, a labyrinth of fabrics, lights and shadows inspired by the textile past of the Poblenou neighbourhood, presented a dynamic installation in warm tones thanks to the application of Kerai’s 1001k pure amber, blue-free technology, thereby fostering a sense of conscious wellbeing within an oasis of clean, refined lines.
“Fabric Maze” was designed by students from the Product Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design and Motion Graphics and Video programmes.
