Raffaella Perrone, Director of the Transportation Design program at IED Barcelona, and Dominico Lee, car designer and professor at IED Torino, have been part of the panel of automotive experts forming the jury of the 4th CarDesign.es Awards —the first magazine in Spanish specialised in car design— together with other leading professionals in mobility.
The awards ceremony took place on 16 October in Madrid, in an event where talent, innovation, and transportation design culture came together, bringing together more than 200 guests, including industry executives, designers, and specialised media.
Five new brands joined the competition, which recognises creative excellence in the automotive world, in an edition that broke participation records with a total of 50 different models presented. The winners were Aston Martin, CUPRA, Omoda & Jaecoo, Dolby, Maserati, McLaren, Automobili Pininfarina, Renault, and Alpine.
Raffaella Perrone presented the award for Best Combustion Car Design to the Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo.
