By taking the design values and methodology, transdisciplinary design allows us to reframe today’s global challenges with different perspectives

In design we have been talking a lot about multidisciplinary, cross-disciplinary, interdisciplinary projects… but, lately, it is all about transdisciplinarity. What does it really mean?

Transdisciplinary design is a response to today’s needs. A new mindset that allows us to go deeper in today’s global challenges in order to find valuable solutions with a sustainable, innovative and inclusive approach. It is an attitude in a way of thinking that takes the values and methodology of design and tries to bring people from different backgrounds together in order to reframe problems.

Take a look at this page.

At IED, we offer two Master of Arts opportunities to deep into this new methodology in Milano and Torino in a hand-on experience with real challenges and the best professionals in the sector.
