With the new fashion master programs at IED, five international mentors, leaders in their fields, guide students into a broader future

The mentors are Danielle Kwateng, Executive Editor at Teen Vogue; Elizabeth Bowring, Head of Catwalks at WGSN; Theo Grassl, Member of the Executive Board of the Fashion Council Germany; Margherita Maccapani Missoni, Entrepreneur and Creative Director and Andrea Selvi, International Business Development and Buying Manager at Yoox Net-A-Porter Group.

Their role will be to assist students in understanding, addressing, and resolving the challenges of an industry that is constantly evolving.

Creative Direction for Fashion, Fashion Trend Forecasting, Fashion Brand Management, Fashion Business and Fashion Merchandising and Buying are the new master courses, all characterized by an interdisciplinary and a project approach, which have long been at the core of IED – Istituto Europeo of Design.

Director Danilo Venturi says: “Particularly at this time in history, fashion can benefit from convergence with other creative industries. Establishing connections in different fields with an inclusive mindset allows for the development of conscious personalities, even before they become professionals. My thoughts also turn to applied projects with a social impact, that can improve people's lives".
