On the occasion of the 88th Geneva Motorshow - for the first time ever - IED presented a prototype with the interiors - Hyundai Kite.
Fifteen students worked on the design of the Hyundai Kite, from nine different countries: Great Britain, India, China, Mexico, South Korea, Guatemala, Romania, Italy, and Venezuela.
IED Torino presented on February 7th 2018 the concept car born by the collaboration between the Master in Transportation Design and European Design Center Hyundai at the Geneva International Motor Show.
The audience had the chance to experience the concept car through virtual reality thanks to a project carried out in collaboration with Protocube Reply.
IED decided to reward those students who commit up front with a special Early Bird discount.

The student of the Undergraduate Course in Transportation Design at IED Torino was announced as the winner of the international contest launched by the historic Spanish car brand.
IED and the University of Liverpool (UoL) in UK, the Hochschule Anhalt/DIA at the Bauhaus in Dessau/Germany, and MVADV in Rotterdam/Netherlands launched a Transdisciplinary Design Network to initiate and spearhead a leading-edge debate on emerging models of transdisciplinarity with the aim of exploring cross-sector impact pathways.
