A journey through creativity with Julia Pelletier and IED in Ecuador

This May, the IED team will travel to Ecuador with Julia Pelletier, textile designer and faculty member at the IED Barcelona fashion school.

During her visit, Julia Pelletier will give a series of workshops and conferences with our partners in Ecuador. Between May 27th and 31st, some of the most renowned and prominent institutions, universities, and colleges in that country, which offer programs linked to the creative industries sector, will be visited.

"Design your own portfolio: are we creative enough?" is the name of the conference that will take place in Ecuador.

Julia Pelletier has a degree in textile design from ENSAAMA (Paris) and has a specialization in screen printing. Julia creates and designs artist books and carries out artistic interventions within the framework of workshops designed for museums, bookstores, and cultural entities throughout Europe.

Her clients include Ediciones Planeta, the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Wallace Collection, as well as the Picasso Museum, the MNAC and the Miró Foundation, among others.

In 2006, she created the international illustrated book festival "Como Pedro por mi casa", an event dedicated entirely to illustrated and self-published books.
