The media highlighted their strong personalities and ability to redefine trends through groundbreaking proposals and provocative aesthetics

A shower of talent, both consolidated and emerging, rained down on the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site in Barcelona from 1 to 4 April. The impressive jewel of Barcelonian architecture was host to the 35th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion, which included an outstanding presence of creativity, innovation and virtuosity in fashion design, bearing the IED hallmark.

As many as six brands by alumni and teachers from the Barcelona and Madrid campuses hit the runway in the most international event on the Spanish fashion catwalk circuit, leaving a trail of admiration in their wake among the specialised press. The media highlighted their strong personalities and ability to redefine trends through groundbreaking proposals and provocative aesthetics in what they described as one of the strongest fashion weeks in recent years.

The collections by Glòria Lladó (EIKŌ AI), Eñaut Barruetabeña (EÑAUT), Guillermo Justicia and Juan Vidal (from IED Barcelona) along with Santi Mozas (Compte Spain) and Ernesto Naranjo (from IED Madrid) also convinced in their ability to turn pieces designed to last into classics.
