Scholarship competition 19/20 – Undergraduate

IED – Istituto Europeo di Design and Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli offer 105 scholarships covering the total amount or part of the tuition fees for Undergraduate Courses and Professional Training Programs (2 years) held in Milan, Cagliari, Florence, Rome, Turin, Venice and in Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli Como.

how to participate

1. Read carefully the Regulation;

2. Choose the course and the location you are applying for;

3. Get registered by filling in the form on this page;

4. Read the Briefing concerning the course of your interest;

5. Arrange the required documents according to the guidelines;

6. Upload the required material by May 2nd, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (GMT+1 – Italian time).


In case you win the scholarship, you will have 3 days to confirm your acceptance and 5 days to complete your application at IED.

Participants are required to represent their idea choosing one format or more and including an explanation of their choice. It is advised to organise the work in two stages, with a preliminary research followed by project’s development.


Participation in the contest is subject to registration and to acceptance of the Regulation.

Participation is strictly reserved to Candidates from 18 to 26 years old by December 31st, 2019 who have accomplished high school diploma by September 2019.

Candidates must show proficiency in the language of the course: B2 as minimum level required.

Why participate?

IED and Accademia Galli offer 105 scholarships as maximum covering the 100% or the 50% of the tuition fees of the first year of the chosen course. Winners of 100% scholarships will have to pay just the enrolments fee. Winners of 50% scholarships have to pay the enrolment fee plus the half of the tuition fee, according to their income shown by ISEE certification (only necessary for European).

The assigned scholarship is confirmed for the subsequent years if the student passes all the exams of the yearly study-plan with an average mark of 28/30.
