Scholarship competition 18/19 – Undergraduate

IED – Istituto Europeo di Design and Accademia di Belle Arti Aldo Galli – IED Como offer 105 scholarships covering the total amount or part of the tuition fees for Undergraduate Courses and Professional Training Program (2 years) held in Milan, Cagliari, Como, Florence, Rome, Turin, and Venice.

Read the Regulation carefully and develop a project following the Briefing dedicated to the course of your choice. The deadline for submissions is May 3rd, 2018 at 11:59 PM (GMT+1 Italian time).

how to participate

1. Read carefully the Regulation;
2. Choose the course you want to apply for;
3. Register using the form in this page;
4. Read the Briefing dedicated to the course of your choice;
5. Arrange the requested papers following the instructions for submission provided with the registration;
6. Submit the documents within May 3rd, 2018 at 11:59 PM (GMT +1 Italian time).

If you win the scholarship, you will have 3 days to accept and 5 days to complete your enrollment.

Candidates have to provide a representation of their ideas in one or more file and a description of the chosen topic. We suggest participants to conduct a research phase at first, and then proceed to a project development phase.

According to the unquestionable judgement of the panel, winner students will be those who:

– will clearly motivate their topic choice;
– will use the representation techniques appropriately;
– will communicate innovative ideas;
– will show consistency between selected topic and application field.


– Participation is subject to the registration and to the acceptance of the Regulation.

– Participation is strictly reserved to candidates who have reached 18 years at the moment of application, are maximum 26 years old on December 31st, 2018 and are in possession of a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in September 2018.

– Candidates must show proficiency in the language of the selected course, B2 as minimum level required.

why to participate

IED and Accademia Galli offer a maximum of 105 scholarships covering 100% or 50% of the tuition fees, which are calculated according to the income shown by ISEE certification for EU students who want to apply for an Undergraduate course.

The assigned scholarship is confirmed for the subsequent years if the student passes all the exams in the yearly study plan witj an average mark of 28/30.
