One gold, one silver and several mentions for the campaigns of former Creative Direction and Communication Design students at the most important award in Italy dedicated to advertising creativity

They have just been awarded, at the conclusion of the ninth edition of IF! Italians Festival, the ADCI Awards 2022, which saw the success of IED Milan in the student category with one gold, one silver, four mentions and one special mention. The jury, chaired by Bruno Bertelli (Global CCO Publicis Worldwide and CCO of Publicis Groupe Italia) awarded the first prize to the Undelivered Love campaign for the US Postal Office (in the opening image), created by students Anita Borsari and Elisa Zanchin of the Master Course in Creative Direction at IED Milan coordinated by Jack Blanga. The young women took inspiration for their campaign from an event that took place in the United States in 1873, when Congress passed the Comstock Act, which banned the exchange by mail of material deemed obscene, including gay love letters. The idea of the project is to associate, on the occasion of Pride 2023, a tombstone with each letter that has never been sent and then ask the public to send them as a statement against all oppression and prejudice about homosexuality.

Meanwhile second place was awarded to The loft campaign for Bang&Olufsen, created by the students of the three-year Communication Design course Alessandro Azzolini (Copywriter), Giorgia Cavadini, Franceco Cogliati and Edoardo Dusina (Art director) under the guidance of lecturers Lorenzo Picchiotti and Fabio Pedroni. The project is a social experiment and aims to unite different generations with different musical tastes through a playlist created by 10 pairs of artists of different styles and ages. The tracks will then be played on new and old media such as Amazon Prime or vinyl records.

A special thought goes to the young students at Italian communication schools. Their unprecedented and growing membership compared to past editions testifies to the great breath of the future of our Club”, underlined Stefania Siani, ADCI President, confirming the success of this edition as well.
