Designing a space means offering people a pleasant, functional, and welcoming environment. During this course, you will learn how to do this in a comprehensive and professional manner.

An environment created by an interior designer can be recognised at first glance.

Upon completing this course, you will become a professional capable of interpreting and realising memorable spaces. You will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to create an environment that is exciting and comfortable. You will be able to interpret the needs of customers and develop projects that are in line with style and well-being.

What will you learn, specifically? You will develop the creativity and understanding required to identify your individual style. By combining creative concept, drawing, graphic representation, and modelling skills, you will be able to turn the needs of your future clients into tailored solutions.

What will you do exactly? Each module includes a theoretical and a workshop part. The first includes lectures, meetings with external professionals, and visits to selected showrooms. A variety of topics are covered, ranging from the organisation of space to drawing techniques, and from the creation of three-dimensional models to the construction of an architectural model. In the practical part you will apply the skills acquired in the creative, technical and architectural fields. In the Final Project, you will also develop and present your own themed interior design work using all the creative tools you learnt during the course.

Information to decide

Starting from scratch, specific training is provided to excel at designing and optimising interior spaces.

By taking this course, you will gain an understanding of how to organise and distribute interior spaces, define furnishing elements, use colour, and choose materials as well as finishes.

You will learn how to master the tools for easily visualising your design idea at every stage of the process. This includes research and definition of the theme, elaboration of the concept, and finalising the technical drawings associated with the design.

Specifically, you will be able to practice the fundamentals of pencil sketching, the use of colours, and the rendering of shadows. You will be guided through the process of building a 3D virtual model up to the creation of the scale model drawing for the realisation of the final model.

Is this the perfect course for you? Yes, if you are passionate about setting up spaces, designing and choosing colours as well as materials, but do not have any professional experience. Yes, if you feel you want to turn your passion into a job and wish to acquire the practical basics. If you strive to furnish houses and rooms with style, attention to detail, and an understanding of people's needs by combining aesthetics with functionality, then this is the right choice for you. The four-month training programme will serve as the springboard for learning these concepts and laying the foundation for a successful career.

Interior designers are in high demand today in both the public and private sector, to furnish homes, offices, businesses and accommodation facilities. If you are interested in becoming an expert in this field, this course will provide you with all the necessary theoretical and technical skills relevant to interior design. We will guide you through the different subject modules step by step so that you can develop your creativity and increase your cultural background.

You will learn how to perceive the essence of spaces and turn them into something unique, as well as how to utilise the right colours, materials, and finishes. With the assistance of professionals in the field, you will be able to discover the best design solutions to transform the customer's needs into furniture that is in keeping with their expectations and new trends. You will experience a mix of theory and practice to ensure the highest level of preparation.

Syllabus

This course is designed to address all of your questions concerning the profession you will be entering. More specifically, you will follow a path that begins with interior design and ends with graphic representation and modelling.

Additionally, you may want to include the final project in your portfolio in order to build a resume and gain professional exposure.
