IED-Talks-2025

IED Talks is a series of live conversations with leading voices from across the creative industries. From design and art to cinema, fashion, and communication, each talk invites students and audiences into a direct dialogue with the people shaping contemporary culture.

These encounters go beyond lectures—they are open windows into the personal journeys, insights, and visions of some of today’s most influential professionals. IED Talks explore how creativity unfolds across disciplines, and how collaboration sparks innovation where worlds collide.

Among the guests who have participated so far:

  • Renowned chef Davide Oldani, in conversation with designer and IED alumnus Attila Veress, demonstrated the unexpected connections between culinary arts and product design.

  • Simone Farresin, co-founder of Formafantasma, in dialogue with Angela Rui, Head of the Master of Arts Programs at IED, explored design’s role in industry, culture, and education, calling for a shift from linear processes toward regenerative and collaborative models.

  • Edoardo Leo and Valeria Golino, acclaimed actors and filmmakers, shared their multifaceted experiences in the Italian creative scene, offering audiences unique perspectives on storytelling across different mediums.

IED Talks are more than conversations—they are opportunities to learn, question, and be inspired.
By bringing together visionaries from diverse fields, IED fosters a dynamic exchange of ideas that equips the next generation of creatives to think critically, act responsibly, and imagine boldly.
