Target – The Master course in Event Management is addressed to students or graduates in humanities, social sciences, economics or scientific disciplines; to graduates in creative disciplines at design schools; to professionals with at least two years of experience in the field.
Methodology and structure – This pathway provides a careful analysis of the national and international events market by showing different case histories, and gives the basic cultural knowledge required to work in this field, in which passion and by being always up-to date are crucial.
Then, the Master course focuses on all the aspects related to the events’ realization: creative and productive process, characters involved, management of supplies, operations, regulations, and sponsors. All the topics are examined through the analysis of case histories and events belonging to the following categories: fashion show, musical, concert, fair, sport event, convention, and show.
The course is structured with a combination of lectures, exercises, case histories, visiting, workshops, and projects realized in groups or individually and in collaboration with companies. Furthermore, in addition to the specialization activities within the mentioned fields, during the year students are involved in cross-disciplinary pathways linked to creativity, innovation, and career that are common to all the courses. These experiences can be carried out together with other students and teachers of the school.
Career Opportunities - The Master course trains professionals able to operate in the national and international market of events and high level entertainment; professionals who can work within agencies and events’ production houses, or in the communication offices of medium or big enterprises.
Facilities and Scholarships - In order to support participants in the coverage of the participation fee, IED has activated an articulated system of facilities: partial or total Scholarships on tuition fee; Early Bird are facilitations for students finalizing enrolment by given deadlines.; Financings with the possibility to pay the tuition fee by instalments thanks to agreements with mortgage companies.
