Throughout this course you will acquire some of the “classical” artistic techniques, such as acrylic painting or drawing, and other more contemporary ones, such as photography or digital tools, to reproduce the landscape, but not only, the course will help you to investigate the meaning of landscape, its aesthetic and philosophical nature which, in interaction with our perception, generates states of mind.
Landscape represents the contextualisation of a way of looking at what is around us but, at the same time, of projecting into this gaze what is within us. Today the landscape is increasingly an inner lanscape. We owerselves are a fiorm of landscape and the specialised approach to landscape seems to have migrated towards disciplines, which in addition to philosophy, include architecture, ecology, geography and anthropology.
