Objectives
The course brings together digital sector specialists, entrepreneurs, academics and international researchers to contribute their unique insights and share what they have learned about today’s “information economy”.
Students explore digital business models, the impact of digitalisation on society, data visualisation as a tool to help search for and interpret information, how to define and calculate KPIs from available data and methodologies that help to foster productive discussions throughout the entire creative process in order to achieve the desired aims.
Our goal is to bring together the necessary tools to focus your profile in one of the most demanded directions today, to be able to create and improve current processes thanks to digital transformation.
Methodology
Students integrate theory and practice in this postgraduate course. Graduates have the opportunity to successfully apply their design skills and technical training in a wide variety of sectors, combining creative thinking with analytical approach to boost innovation and create intelligence beyond that of pure intuition.
At the end of the course, students acquire the techniques required to turn data into one of the main assets in any business sector to improve decision-making processes. The programme is taught online and concludes with a one-week, on-site boot camp from a choice of one of IED’s three locations in Spain.

Coordination
DANIELLE PEZZATINI
Daniele Pezzatini is a computer scientist working at the crossroads of technology, design and data science. Since 2017, he has been working at Bestiario developing important innovative data-driven projects aimed at helping international companies and organisations position themselves as leaders in their sector.
Degree in computer science engineering from the University of Florence, he has experience as a researcher in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), which studies the exchange of information between people and computers using software, which makes it possible to analyse how computers influence individuals, organisations and society.

The educational planning for all IED Master courses is aligned with the criteria established by the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). The IED Master program adopts a credit structure that follows the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). IED Master only awards its own private degrees.
